Dear Vachel,  Let the Bread's Rhyme

I am longing for disturbing evening

Miserable floating in regardless owl weeping

Lost boy with lost path

Dying in the hands of wrath

I am longing for Your existance

But no one comes over

Except you the lost one like me

You're not Imogen

The one I need most.

Life Has Given Us Two

My Aphrodite,

Life has given us two options
Together or separated away

Life has give us two flavors
Bitter and sweet

Life has given us two instincts
To hurt and to heal

Life has given us two questions
What and why

Life has given us two lack of existence
Here and there

Life has given us two great plays
Lover and deceiver

Life has given us two hidden words
Vision and faith

Life has given us two dreams
Best and last.

Again, My Aphrodite
Life has given us two.

Romance

Romance, who loves to nod and sing
With drowsy head and folded wing
Among the green leaves as they shake
Far down within some shadowy lake,
To me a painted paroquet
Hath been—most familiar bird—
Taught me my alphabet to say,
To lisp my very earliest word
While in the wild wood I did lie,
A child—with a most knowing eye.

Of late, eternal condor years
So shake the very Heaven on high
With tumult as they thunder by,
I have no time for idle cares
Through gazing on the unquiet sky;
And when an hour with calmer wings
Its down upon my spirit flings,
That little time with lyre and rhyme
To while away—forbidden things—
My heart would feel to be a crime
Unless it trembled with the strings.
